Torque

Flipped the channel and I thought I was seeing a Mountain Dew commercial. It was two chicks flying around on crotch rockets fighting each other with a huge Mountain Dew billboard in the background. It wasn't a commerical though, it was the movie Torque. I figured the movie had to be better than the stupid bike scene I had just watched so I kept watching. These guys were flying through crowded streets at what looked to be close to light aircraft speed, with a stream of fire following them. These people could do backflips and run around while they were flying around on crotch rockets, and then wipe out and live. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, it was terrible. Then I see Ice Cube in a bandanna, and Nickelback starts playing in the background. I couldn't take it anymore.

I thought Road House was the worst movie I had ever seen, but this tops it, and I didn't even watch for 10 minutes. I saw all of Road House.

My favorite thing about this movie is the name. "Torque" in a movie about crotch rockets....ahhh the irony :grinno:

Watch it again, and the entire time, Ice Cube has the expression on his face that just says "N-----, I'm so hardcore, I wipe my ass with a ROCK!"

I said that out loud and my friend in the room busted out laughing, we must have been laughing for like 10 minutes straight.

i was really exited to see the movie since i love motorcycles and there aren't that many motorcycle related movies (about 3 this century) but about 5 minutes into the movie i was like WTF? at least we still have biker boyz.

AFers should so make our own racing movie, with all tachnical stuff so it's not like the shit in F&F. with cars an bikes an all that.

no, slightly kerbed RS6 19inch alloys (i think they're 19inch). an CD changer etc... oh an this cool thing on the radio, the faster you go the more it compensates for outside noise, put simply the faster you go the louder the radio gets!

the golf aint so special, few dents an dings. an when we bought it the guy who imported it never checked it, the sump casing wasnt bolted on properly an it leaked oil on the motorway an my dad was told it could've exploded when he was driving. it sounds like a diesel at idle.

What a ridiculous movie. I started watching at pretty much the same part, just as the fight and the chase starts. The whole thing was so ADD ridden I thought I was going to have a seizure seeing him fly through the city. I was convinced for the first minute or so that someone had hit fast forward.

And the fucking pepsi and mountain dew product placement GEEEEZE. It's the slums, everything's filthy except for these two billboards. Then you get the chicks jousting and using the bikes as swords.

Ridiculous movie.

Yeah that movie was so far fetched that it was disturbing. I realize that alot of movie that are made today are but that was taken to an entirely new level.

Torque is right there with 2F2F. Exteremely stupid and unbeleivable. I still have no idea what kind of engine powers that bike in the final chase scene. Ford revs the engine and there is jet-like winds comming from the sides of the bike, than he pops the clutch and rear tire fires up.
Chick fight scene is...well too much.
Best part of the movie is right after begining, 3 bikes go through the mountains and some good driving involved; it goes down hill from there.
