i have a 88 turbo 2 and the eng. comp is just to clutered up what and i pull out like accesories. im not worried about it im going straight for power and its my first rx-7 and i dont need stupid shti aroudnthe comp. so wha tcnai pull off and how hard is it?.. also is there a place i can get all new interior carpet like black colored

AC is about the only thing you could pull off. to free up a small small not even noticable amount of power.
The interior carpet, do a google search, I came across a site for interior carpet shift/ebrake boots and things like that, all fairly cheap too. Just don't remember what the site was.
If you are looking for straight up power out of your 7, I'd suggest a RB exhaust and downpipe system, aftermarket intercooler. Depending on the money you want to spend, a Haltech standalone, injectors, and fuel pump.

and i wanna do it right the first time but i was told it needs an apex seal so its a turbo 2 and dont run but imma pull it apart and see how much horsepower i can build it up to but i dont know what all i can do to the inside of the motor my first rotary..

you can take out powersteering and the air pump

Powersteering is kinna nice to have.
Airpump, yea you could get rid of that.
You can get like a Street Port, rebuilt Atkins motor for like 4grand. Or something like that, that will give you some more power, turbo upgrade, standalone management system. All in all I could spend about 10-15k of your money to get you a good powerful car.
But, if all you want to do is beat some rustangs and what not, you don't need to spend that kind of money.

so apex seal.. i cant pull it apart and rebuild it kinda like rings in a v8 or something i wanted to like put lightened rotors in this and then like jsut build the motor to hell but i was trying to keep original motor but i was told an apexseal can be replaced and stuff

Basically it's just like rebuilding a piston engine but you have differant parts that go in these.
Unless your irons or housing are bad you can reuse them along with the rotors and unless the rotors are bad in this engine I would suggest reusing them instead of going with light weight ones.

i guess i wont know tilli pull it apart it has 92K so i dunno they guy told me he blew apex seals by running to much boost.. is it a lie? i dont know

man rx7s are light cars, you dont need power steering
you never drove one without it, the road feel owns

True enough, but I hate and I mean Hate trying to manuver in a parking lot with no power steering. Not that I am ever in parking lots too much.

If the motors toast and everything seems visually sound that doesn't neccisarily mean that it is internally sound. Small fractures and cracks and what not. That's why I would much preffer using new rotors and housings. If the motor is known to be toasted, and wether or not it was run for a little bit when the Apex's where going or mainly gone.
You can always send you "block" off to get x-rayed for any internal damage. I don't know what it costs, but shouldn't be too much.
If you are going to do something, and money is not an option, mine aswell do it right. Right? So all new everything would be optimal way to go.
If you want to reuse, or try to atleast, the original motor, then you are looking at a lot of issues in my personal opinion.

I'm not aware of any companys that sell new housings or irons and as far as I know every one that sells rebuilds use old core engines but that's not to say there isn't someone who sells them.
Like I said unless there is something wrong with them then you should be able to reuse anything in good condition.
