Solar controlled windshield ?

Hey guys, i just had my windshield replaced today and was just looking at the invoice and it says it is solar controlled, any idea what that means ?

Here's what I found on a Google search.

Solar-Ray® solar-controlled glass in all LeSabre windshields, rear windows and side glass helps reduce the transmission of both infrared and ultraviolet rays thereby giving LeSabre drivers and passengers reduced glare.

It was talking about a buick but I'm sure it is the same for Chevy. Hope this helps.

Exactly...keeps the interior cooler, and prevents fading. Just curious, what brand of glass is it? There's a logo, with name in the lower corner.

I did the whole google search thing too but came upwith nothing specificly for GM. I did find some generic info about solar controlled glass but was not sure if it applies to GM glass, ya never know with them. Rfgale , it is a GM windshield.
