vtech motor for 88 crx

what would be a good motor to put in and where would be a good place to buy one also how hard is it to switch over

at the list of forums before this page the top two threads say (important) read down those posts and it will give you all the info you need. i am pretty sure anyway. but if it were my motor i would go with ls vtec swap. just me tho

by the question asked, this kid can not build a lsvtec motor to save his life, hell he cant even spell vtec.

Get a z6 or jdm 1.5 vtec you should be able to maybe get that done. www.hmotorsonline.com (http://www.hmotorsonline.com) is the best place out there, i dont care what anyone else says.

sorry about that Hybrid1990crx this is my friends car and he is wanting to put the (vtec) in his car as you can see by my screen name i have a mustang but thanks for the info this should be a fun project

yes a fun project make sure you have a guy name v-tech look it over after its all done...I heard these some slight cases of phone not working at the the right ghz(rpms)

its cool dude. mustangs are sick too. like the motors i said before, they are cheap and easy to do, only harder thing really is converting to obd1 to use the p28 ecu, but you can get a conversion harness for real cheap these days. DOHC zc would be nice too, but these motors are getting so old now.
