Interior light on at bad times

*staying low on the 240sx radar*
I have no idea how this happened. But gradually, whenever the car is turning, hits a bump, at high speed, or just wants to blind me at night, the interior light turns on, at the middle setting. The only way it turns on is when the door opens so maybe a door won't close. It could be a fuse problem but i really don't have a good idea of what's causing this.
It does get worse every day. I drove him last night and it was like a strobe light. Help me please

I needed a laugh thanks, I'll look at the fuses and door later, I noticed the passenger door sticks out but I can't imagine it did so much that the light went on. Then the door might swing open.

not necisarily. It may be latched good enough to not open, but still be open enough not push the knob all the way in. Did you notice the light on the dash telling you your door was open too?? If not then its definantly a short in wires, or a switch problem. Just keep it in the off position, then if you need it turn it on. Im sure by now you dont need it to turn on everytime the door opens. You should have a good idea where everything is located. My coupe door doesnt latch all the way either, the "door open" light is always on but the door will never fully open when in the middle of driving. I have the base model so i have no interior light to make me feel like im at a club lol. Plus i took out the headliner anyways. The door probably just needs to be readjusted and tightened back down. Should take no more than an hour.

Regaurds to interior light , I have the same problem on my 89 , 180 sx , its the little rubber boot that covers the switch , you will notice it is slightly crooked at the top of it , straighten it out or cut it , and it will stopp the problem , its caused from body roll :iceslolan

I had the same problem in my 93 hatch push on the doors when they're closed and you'll figure out which one you need to tinker with, and i'm a lazy bastard so I just took the little push switch off and put a thin washer under it to fix it.
