My 2000 stratus se is leaking transmission fluid that is dripping from behind the left headlight. I took it to the dealership and was told that the lines that are "crimped" to the transmission cooler are leaking and the lines and the cooler are one unit since they are crimped. I can't find this part anywhere. Can someone help me find this part or is the service manager trying to generate revenue?

Take a look at it I wouldnt think the cooler and the lines would all be one unit but you never know. I have changed at lot a leaky chrysler crimped lines. so i dont doubt the line is leaking.

im not sure how it is on ur car but as far as i know the transmission oil cooler is inside the radiator and the lines are not crimped they are just clamped on both ends. one end is on the radiator the otheris on the front of the tranny near the selenoid connector for both lines. the other thing that might be leaking is one of the power steering lines that go to the power steering cooler that one is inside the front bumper lower end infront of the a/c condencer right by the midle and the oil the power steering uses looks like the tranny oil.
