So, where does everyone see themselves in 5 years? And I don't just mean cars, I mean your life.

As for me, I'll be 24, I will hopefully be working as a Consultant for a data and networking company, own a house, have a serious girlfriend, but not married. I would like to have a weekend car putting down high hp number, probably Elise, Vette, something among those lines along with a daily rider liter bike.

I'm 18 now, so I should be just getting out of college in 5 years. I see myself still living in an apartment doing something in a car related profession with my friends. Or playing minor league baseball trying to work my way up to the big show. Who knows, just all hopes and dreams for now.

those two guys summed up my 5 year plan. I'm about to turn 23. ok, a better job than stocking shelves at safeway would be nice. married would be great. kids, yes! whether married or not! my own house, I bought one last month (well not fully own yet, got 359 payments left)

22 now, so I should be on the verge of being done with Grad school at that point, hopefully will have a kick ass job lined up with a major biomedical research company, still have my same girlfriend (maybe engaged?), and will be looking for a house.

In a much better position work wise (although I can't complain about my job now). Making a lot more money, increasing my investment portfolio, in a serious relationship, hopefully married(no kids yet), owning my first Ferrari. Just living life and having a blast.

work the grill at hooters.

nah nah nah..

I think I'm gonna join the Air Force soon, so just exiting the air force, or maybe re signing, hopefully have a degree from a tech school, or maybe an associates degree in business. Have a solid reliable car, and either start my own business in car customizations, or else be a manager at one. And last but not least, be a mod on AF!!!!!!!!!!! YEAHHH!!!

Well, I'm 18 now, so I have a lot I can do in 5 years. Hopefully I'll have both my level one and level two welding certificates, be making money as a welder, and maybe get a truck driving license as well. I'll probably be living in my 6th apartement by then, and have owned three different cars. I hope to be making a name for myself in the car world, by customizing peoples cars. Oh and hopefully I'll have my highschool degree too. And after I have that, I'll probably go for the autobody apprenticechip. And I also hope to have my band in full flow, doing alotta gigs, and getting better as a musician. It seems like a lot, but I can get alot of it done before 2007 comes around. One of the big things for me is to own a 240sx with an SR20DET motor and an S15 front end conversion. Or at least my poor little 4cyl Mustang get the motor it deserves. Anyway, thats where I wanna be.. I better be there in 5 years.

Bunch a young'uns in here :p

Well here's my current situation and 5 year plan: I'm 31, married, own a house, work full time at law firm (13 years as of last month ), no kids yet. Currenly Alex (my hubby) works full time at engineering firm (4 years) and also is in school for engineering. While he's in school at night/slaving over homework on weekends, I pretty much take care of all household chores and manage our finances. At the same time, we're getting ready to start a project/potential business idea.

As for the next 5 years, he will be working on his education. As for me, while he works on our future I will work on keeping our present situation in order. Right now its not feasible for both of us to be in school at the same time, but perhaps I will look into it again when he's done, depending on if we have started a family or not by that time.

Our financial goals include getting as much money into savings as possible, perhaps be in a different home by then, depending on how the Arizona market is doing when/if we decide to move again.

Other than that, it's day to day, we never know what tomorrow brings.
