ok i was driving on the freeway and all of a sudden the car just turns off and i coasted off to the shoulder lane, so then i try to restart it and wont start back up, it cranks but wont start. its not a battery problem since the battery is a few months old and also alternator is few months old too. it has gas in the car, i noticed some of the spark plugs have oil in them. could it be the ignition module or something?

HAd a similar problem with my S-10,my problem was a faulty ign switch, what I think it is important to do a check on all your fuses and if they are good get a wiring diagram and make sure you have voltage where you need it.Also break the problem down to a spark or fuel problem ,are you sure it oil on your plugs and not fuel that was black from carbon?

I had a similiar problem and it turned out to be the fuel pump and the gas filter needed to be replaced. My car wouldn't start at all from the parked position which I had left it at during the night.

Thanks,
Frank
