Get this - If you own a car prior to 2001, you cannot use Hyundai's Web Tech - (not that it offers many pearls of wisdom like the Owner's Manual). Look how to replace a headlight and you'll see what I mean. If you haven't replaced one, you will break it trying to do what they suggest. That is the definitive scoop. I take it that they figure that you will not have a Hyundai for more than 5 years. I didn't pay exorbitant interest rate and 6 years of maintenance to give the car away. They figure you aren't going to get it fixed by them anyway - however, it would be nice to be able to look up part number and compare their prices vs. a local shop for same work. In the end it is their shortsightedness. Kind of like not having a spam filter on your network. I can get info on Honda, Toyota GM, etc. I'll buy the Chilton's but it is something to think about since they tout their longevity and here my car is still under warranty but I can't look up a part on their website. Penny wise - pound stupid. Like some people I know. - All the best.

www.hmaservice.com is still available. You can use this. I guess you could probably pay for the tutorials if you are mechanically inclined. Just a shame that you can't look up a part or schematic on the regular website. There are alternate sources for this info but I don't know how good, bad or otherwise they are and they all share one thing in common - they ain't giving nothing away. :smokin:

I am not following you. The schematic is there on webtech on how to replace the headlamp and considering that the 200MY Accent is an older model, it still is listed and the TSBs, SHop manual are still there. True, the schematics and notes are the very same ones that were sented out years ago and are not as detailed or with nicer images of the parts in question, but they are there on webtech.
Maybe I am not understanding what you mean.
