SAFC # of wires

Hey all;
I believe its 7... but I just want to verify that. How many wires do I need to actually use from the SAFC controller? I'm rigging it up by using 9-pin serial connectors (off a computer), so I can plug and play when I use it. I looks like only I need to use 7. Is this correct? Thanks

Thats a good idea, I wish I would have thought of that...anyway theres a good write up on vfaq.com but its for the turbo modle so I dont know if its the same but 7 sounds right
