Okay heres the thing. Since i got a speeding ticket im unable to drive my 1996 3000gt Base DOHC Dad says no. So i dont feel like paying for the insurance on the car. My dad tells me i have to wait to graduate from Highschool to drive it again. Only able to drive it 1 day a week. I payed for the whole thing too. So I decided to sell it since i graduate in 2 years. Its perfect there are no problems with it at all. I just had all the maintance done for the 120000 mark. It has around 124000. Replaced everything that needed to be replaced. Cost was over 1400 dollars. Plus i just had a brand new clutch put in. The only thing the matter with the car is that the front right headlight looks like its blistering. I have pics of the car and its beautiful. I really dont want to sell it. I will be buying another one when i graduate. I need to get around 8500 dollars for it. I just bought it about 3 months ago and it was my dream car. Thanks email me here if you need pics cooldudez5@aol.com

sorry to hear that man. If you're gonna sell it you may also want to post it on 3si and autotrader

one speeding ticket and your dad says you can only drive it once a week til you graduate? and you've only had the car for 3 months? that SUCKS man. i bet/hope your dad will get over his punishment rage. seems pretty harsh. but oh well, best of luck to ya.

if you really do wanna sell it, autotrader is a great place. that's where i got my 3000GT.

Damn man. The first time I got a speeding ticket, the same thing happened to me. I wasn't able to even touch my car for 3 months. I agree with everyone else, put your car on 3SI/Autotrader, and if you get really desperate, you might want to try eBay. Good luck, bro.

yeah the first time i got a speeding ticket... oh wait I was 21 and had not lived at home for 8 years. See I learned early to escape the parents. A word of advice, when posting it for sale leave out the speeding ticket part. I bought mine from a doctor for more than some of the others I had offers on simply because he was old and i knew the car would not have seen redline.

tell your dad it's just as easy to speed in a regular car. hell, i never speed in my VR4 but I was always over the limit in my '92 Oldsmobile. any car speeds. at least you're in a car that can handle it.

So wait you bought the car, you pay for insurance, and dad says you cant drive it?? Thats complete and utter BS. Dad needs to learn that son made a mistake and will pay for it. If he wants to "ground" you from going other palces fine, but taking YOUR car off you is stupid. That would be like you telling your dad he cant drive his own car after getting a ticket.
