I was reading up on tires for certain wheel widths and this is what I read.
A 275 tire will fit an 8 inch rim
A 315 tire will fit an 9.5 inch rim
For those of you who dont know what the crap the first number is, its the tire, sidewall to sidewall in mm
275=11 inches
315=12.6 inches
Do these tire/ rim combos seem a little off?

I doubt a 315 would fit on an 8" rim but even if it did I sure wouldnt want to take any hard turns...

You mean a 315 on a 9.5 and 275 on a 8?

But still. 275 is big for an 8 incher. Id be worried about the bead breaking loose and blowing out on a sharp turn. Straight line it might be ok.

wow you guys suck.
8" = 245s(stock)
9.5" = 275s
10.5/11" = 315s.

You'll get better traction froma correctly sized tire. If you try to fit a huge tire ona rim too small it will bulge out and wear excessively in the middle, meaning you will need to run lower pressure, making it extremely like to blow it out.
If you try this then good luck not dying.
