Z-24 1992

Buddy of mines got a 92 z-24 automatic, black. There is a dent int he driverside quarter, but other than that, its in nice shape. He wants 500 for it. Is this a good deal? P.S. it has 114,000 on it.

He says that there is some tourque converter soliniod that needs replaced, because the car is like at 3500 going down the road. Has a shift kit in it, and a street racing transmission rebuild. I know the guy thats selling it, he drove it like an old lady. This car has never seen redline. How hard is that tourque converter soliniod to replace?
