I really didnt care much for the sunfire untill the 2.2L ecotec became standard, and its exterior was re designed. Amaizing how a few changes of line and sway your opinion.
But anyways... I have heard some pretty good things and some pretty bad things about the car. So I just want to know over all what kind of luck people usualy get with them.

I have an 03 GT and I love it..no problems at all and just found out today that it can go thru a foot of snow without a prob! I'm so impressed..and damn the newer models are way sexier body-wise ;-)

They are still basically the same car as the older models with a different power plant. So the problems I'm sure are still the same, like brake rotors.

i have had my '05' for a little over a year now and have had no major problems. Sure I have had a couple of minor problems but nothing that has left me stranded. Love the look of the third gen and so far I am having fun with the car.
