this is for statistics....would everyone and anyone mind putting down, either if they are in school now their GPA and hours a week playing video games, or those rough figures for when you were in school? Im going to make up a large majority of the numbers for my project but a few real ones wouldnt hurt..

Kinda forgot how you do GPAs, but I'll guess.
3.4 gpa with about 3-5 hours of videogames a day, so around 21-35 hours a week.

Ditto. I think its dumb how the older generation thinks videogames make kids dumb. Some of the smartest nerds in the world play videogames like theres no tomorrow, lol.

I forgot how the gpa system goes. isnt it like:
A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
?
A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
?

i graduated with a solid 2.8 lol no im not dumb i just knew high school was pointless. I only did math homework..every other class was done in class, if i didnt finish it oh fucking well. Surprisingly when i started heavily using Marijuana my gpa jumped to a 3.2 and i got insurance discount lol. I was like wtf this was never in any DARE books.
Marijuana:
may cause drowsiness
may cause hunger
redness of eyes
slow reactions
a constant smile
a higher gpa
and lower insurance bahahahahahah doesnt sound bad to me???
back in highschool i prolly played Counter-Strike an easy 3-5 hours a day. Some days i wouldnt play at all though, you know i got friends and puntang too....

ok thanks im done with it now. the data i made up suggest a positive linear correlation lol. for anyone taking the class r was .598 so failry significant i guess. according to my data, if you play video games 32 hours a week, there is a 95% chance your GPA is between 2.6273 and 4.8127. aaaand hopefully i get my B in the class.

who has a 4.8?

ok obviously you guys havent taken the class.
you have a scatter plot, x and y values
you make a linear regression line (y=a+bx) that best fits the data
from the equation (y=a+bx), you can pick a random x and see what the best predicted y is. i picked 32. that gave me a number for the predicted y value. only trouble is you cant leave it at that you have to go up and down from that number by a certain amount to create a window that it could be in. the size depends on the significance level you are using. so at the 95% confidence level, or 5% significance level, the prediction interval is 2.62 to 4.81. it is a wide gap because the data set was far from uniform in a straight line, a lot of outliers mean you cant be as precise when you predict values.
and i fuckin bombed the final today but from what i calculated out earlier it shouldnt matter i should get a B i woulda had to get like 90 something to raise it to an A.

4.8 is possible if your taking like all AP classes, 5.0 is possible with all AP classes, so ya, makes sence, just a really board range.

heee hee hee haww haww haww(urcle laugh). Is this person down to earth or all weird to be in society. Like they have social disorder?? That would be cool if it was a hot chick thats a freak, but dresses all nerdy and unattractive like that one movie. Thats the best girl to get. But let her still be nerdy and never let her see the light. I would marry a smart girl like that in a second. She'd be rich and hot and never show it off in public. It would be the best thing since....the ls1 and the z06. I know i want them...never. Well maybe when im 45 and in a midlife.

orestes, try y=a(bx)+c ... see how that plots the numbers out.. and fyi my gpa is probably about 3.4 (we have different grading..) with 0 hours of video games per week.. or maybe 1 hour every month...
