Headlight and taillight removal?

I just purchased new taillights for my 4 door 97 Blazer and I do not know how to get the old taillights off, it seems as if it would be a simple job but there is no way to reach the screws because of the hatch arms. Des anyone know where to find instructions (preferrably w/ pics) on removing the taillights?

Also I need to remove the cover of one of the headlights to clean, anyone know how to do headlights also?

where do you pop the arm off at? the top or bottom?

And what about headlights?

You pop the hatch arm off at the top. You will see where the metal spring clip is on the arm and there should be a small slot. That's where you put the flathead. I've never popped the headlight cover off, so I can't help you there.

Thanks guys for the help, my tail lights look great! Now I just need to figure out how to remove the headlight cover now, the left side is real foggy and the light isn't at it's best with it so foggy/dirty.

If you have composite lights you will have to remove the grille to get the lights off. Not sure about the sealed beams or 98+.I think its a 10mm for the screws
