98 suspension Qs

I have twisted my torison bars to lift the front of my truck by about 1.5". I have a two part question:
1) When going over bumps, sometimes I hear a clicking sound under front drivers side of the suspension. I put in a set of new shocks around 20-30k miles ago. What is causing this sound? Would it have anything to do w/ the lift?
2) If i put in 3" lift springs on the back, will have be able to crank the front bars up enough to level off the car? Any drawbacks?
3) If I were to lift it in the rear, does that mean that I would more than likely need new shocks?
Thanks
