I got a 94 sedan deville. The cars ABS light was on when I bought it. I reset the computer, now when I start the car, no abs light is on but I cant get the car over 10 MPH? When I push on the gas it says traction enabled and slows me way down. I can keep pushing gas but traction control takes over and slams on the ABS. After about 15 min of getting motion sickness.... It shuts off and the light comes on and says traction disabled and works fine...no abs.. Is this an easy fix..Any help would be greatfull Also.. My remote keyless entry, how do you reset that system. I found it says to ground the single black wire connector located at trunk pull down unit? and where exactly is this located? Thanks

There's something wrong with your ABS system, like a front wheel speed sensor causing the traction control to kick on. You can remove the ABS fuse, and that will disable the traction control. I believe the fuse is in the trunk. Most Cadillacs though will disable first gear with the fuse being removed, so your car may run sluggish since it will be starting out in 2nd gear.
I'd check the computer codes and see what is wrong with the ABS system. But my guess is a wheel speed sensor.

Thanks alot. I found the ABS/TCS (forgot what one it was :-P) fuse under the hood. I removed it and the cars ABS light turned on. So it worked...The way I wanted it i guess... I still have 2 questions that I could use any help with. 1) Where is the single black wire located near the trunk pull down unit, to reset the RKE system. Would this be behind the plastic piece covering the trunk latch? 2) Someone had a stereo Prof. installed, They snipped the wires when they took there deck out of it but left a little piece of the wire on each of the wires. So I was able to hook my stereo up to it really easy, but when I went to turn it on all I got out of it was a *beep*, from my stereo. The stereo seems to be functioning just fine...donno. The wires run back to the factory amp behind the rear seat. I dont have 6x9s in yet but I dont think that is an issue. Ive heard that there (is) more than one remote wire that powers the amp from the deck . I plan on replacing speakers with better ones and put subs in it.. Should I rewire all the speakers or use the factory amp THANKS THANKS THANKS for any help!!!

I don't know too much about stereo systems, so you'd have to look at a wiring diagram, or talk to someone who knows!
But the RKE reset wire should be right near the trunk pull down motor. It might be buried under the carpet around the motor, but it usually is right there.
