The heat/AC fan behind the glove box has burned up. (Smoke came out of the vents when it quit.) I've checked the wires, and it's still getting current, but the motor doesn't turn. My problem is that I can't get the fan out of the dash! I've gotten it completeley loose, but it won't come out. I've taken out the glove box and some of the brackets supporting the dash, but it still won't slide out. Any suggestions?
Also, I can't find my Chilton's book - the last time I needed it was to replace the original clutch 4 years ago, and I've moved since then. If they've got instructions on replacing this fan, could someone e-mail or fax (865-560-0521) this page to me? Thanks!!

Im not sure about that particular generation (even though I used to own one) but every other Honda I've seen has 3 or 4 bolts that holds in the entire motor/fan assembly. Just take the bolts out, unplug the fan and the assembly falls out the bottom of that black ductwork box thing.
