Im looking at this 9 inch differential with 58" axles for $50 CDN. I'm not really up on Mustangs that much. I own one, but I havent really payed too much attention to anything other than the motor. Will 58 inches be wide enough, or too wide? Would I have to buy new new four bolt axles to fit the 9 inch gear? Currently I have a stock 2.3 Mustang. It's got the 7.25(or whatever) inch rear end in it right now. Would it be worth buying this 9 inch rear end? Lemme know homies.

Its a 9 inch housing, sadly. Im not sure if it comes with the gears or not. But yeah, it would be nice if my question was answered. If it was an 8.8 I'm sure the guy would advertise it as that. Yeah, read my post again and get back to me. Better yet, someone who will answer my question, please, do so. Thanks TheStang.

ur question was "Would it be worth buying this 9 inch rear end?" u cant just answer yes or no without knowing what ur gonna do to the car. a 7.5 should be good to 300 hp

You got way more issues than is it too long or short for your fox. Unless you a master fabricator forget this idea and buy yaself an 8.8 from a V8 fox.
