Need some coherent info.
Warm, cold, anytime?
Low speed, high speed, any speed?
Dies on throttle, off throttle, idling?
Get worse the farther/faster you go?
Anything make it worse or better?
Mileage, motor, model (APV, sedan, FI or TBI, etc)

sorry about the lack of information.
it seems to happen went it is warm. and when i go from a low speed to a higher speed. to keep the car going i have to pump the gas pedal. now after i replaced the fuel pump it is having a hard time staying at an idle. when it first started if i let it sit it seemed to run better but now its anytime. the car has 175,000 miles.

Could be one of your coils dropped out.
Check spark across all wires. If you find two dead ones- just follow it back to the specific coil. The car will run with one bad coil, but it will chug really bad and theres no power when you hit the gas.
