How do you know if the 91 talon is a turbo will it have a hump in the hood or is that just normal.

The bump in the hood is on all talons and eclipses... If its a turbo Talon then it will be a TSi or TSi AWD...

Look for the turbo under the hood.

When an episode of Walker Texas Ranger was aired in France, the French surrendered to Chuck Norris just to be on the safe side.

Where the exhaust manifold goes down, it will be right under it... You can't miss if if you know what a turbo at least looks like... Another way to tell is check in the guages and see if there is a factory boost guage.

Turbo can be sorta hard to spot if you don't know what you are looking for. Especially if it is all old ang rusty. T0 see if your car is turbo or not, look on your dash. In the same circle as your tachometer (rpms) there should be a smaller gauge that says "BOOST"
Also, not sure how high the NT speedo goes up to, but I am guessing it is less than the Turbo speedo. The 1g turbo speedo should read up to 140.

Hope that helps!

you can also tell by popping the hood and finding the intake manifold and fallow the piping if it leads to an airfilter its not turbo'd and if leads out of the car its going to the smic.

That is true with 2g's but the guy is looking at a 1g. And that is true that the speedometers in 1g's are different between the turbo and n/t models...

My NT 92 Eclipse's speedo goes to 140mph also. I have the 4g63, I don't know what the 1.8L engine's speedo goes to though.

all you have do look for is where your filter tubes go....if the tubes go straight from your filter to your motor then it's nonturbo....if your filter goes down to your manifold then its turbo
