Just wondering if anyone could help me. I went out to my explorer one night and all of the interior lights were on. Have not been able to get them to shut off. Right now it's sitting there witht he battery disconnected. I hope this is something simple. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone ever heard of this happening before? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Me again, so i tried the WD40 trick and got nothing.....i'm begining to believe in the "exploder" nickname. my truck has aggrevated me beyond belief on this little problem, so i just tore out all my interior lights. but if anyone has any ideas i'm still all ears. I'm dumbfounded on this one and i hate to take it into a shop and have it turn out to be something simple with a price with more than one zero.......

I pulled all my bulbs years ago. I thought it was something to do with the back hatch but couldn't find anything. I live in the dark. I'm glad to hear someone else has this one. Hope to hear more.

I have a 94 Explorer XLT and when I shut the engine off the interior lights stay on for around 35 secs. I know that on the 91-94 models the round knob that you pull to turn on the headlights could also twist right and left. If you twist it to the left, the interior lights will stay on untill you twist the knob back to its original spot. And to the right, the green lights on the dash get lighter or darker.

Well U might already know that but I', just suggesting.
