ok-i'm new to this and looking for help. my '91 jimmy just up and died. it started fine in the morning, then i went to leave work and squat. the battery and starter are less then a year old. i've got no interior lights, but i do get the annoying beeping when i stick my key in the ignition with the door still open. the alternator was charging to 14, so it shouldn't be that. it also won't take a jump. any thoughts would be great.

I had the same problem, and mine wouldn't take a jump, but did start with a battery charger on Fast charge, the only thing I could think of was that the battery charger was more power. Mine seems to do this in the winter at least 2 or 3 times, so I started taking the battery charger with me every where I go. Just in case.

I have a '92 and I replaced my battery, started the truck and now the thing will not start again.

Its cold in WI but the truck has started in much colder temps. I have tried for 2 weeks and it still doesnt start.
