Anyone heard of such a thing being sold. An actual talking program for a car (trans am). Something that communicates with verbal commands and replies, and is somewhat self sufficient? Or am I just dreamin'?

I think you watch too much TV. Perhaps you can pay a midget to live in your dash and talk to you while you drive
I'm just messing with you. Here is a link to site that sells knight rider conversion equipment. It has everything from the lights to the steering wheel to the voicebox. There is a CD you can buy that has KITT's voice on it and many of his most popular phrases. But it's not like it'll open your doors, start your engine or switch to auto-pilot
The stuff is expensive though. I would rather spend that cash making my car fast.

Good luck

yeah the newer bmw's and mercedes have those things. but i think its offered in the sl55 or sl65 AMG package (and i still think its an option.) If your gonna pay $200,000+ it should come stock.
