What do u guys think about this???

I have made some money that i have decided to invest into either my current car(2001 gt) or a little sleeper/daily driver. After doing a fair bit of thinking i have decided to build a little civic sleeper. I have found a 96 ex that I can buy for $3k which happens to have a messed up motor, which is fine because I would be doing a swap anyway. So how good of a sleeper do you think it would be with say an h22 and the basic n/a mods (cold air intake,headers,exhaust,a venom chip?,nitrous). I would probably also do some stuff to make it look like more a "ricer" than it really is, such as big "park bench" wing, poorly placed stickers, cheap ghetto wheels w/o hubcaps maybe alteezas?

If anybody has any other suggestions as for performance mods or crap to do to this thing to make it look like your typical slow "ricer" they would be greatly appreciated. THX

don't make it ricey, make it stock looking....OEM cars are the best sleepers......

First of all yes I am serious. And 3k doesnt seem too bad since the car only has 40k miles on it or so but I will probably keep looking around. And I kinda want it to look all ricey so I can make an Lt1 driver cry when he goes to mess with me, because where I'm from v8mustangs/camaros go for big-winged civics faster than Bill Clinton goes for fat chicks.

an "LT1" is a good goal to beat, but can easly be achived with a little money (boost). as for the the civic you a looking at; 40,000 miles + messed up engine= honda abuse. more than the engine may be screwed up. check it out though.

Yea im not too positive what is in fact wrong with the engine. I believe the guy said it had a blown head gasket but im not too sure.

Get A KB step away from the honda. You will thank me.

Leaving a car looking stock is probbly even easier way to get the jump on people. A h22 6th gen is a quick little car. But wouldn't even hold a candle to FI mod motor.

of all swaps to do, you really need to know that you are doing to put an h22 in a little civic.

ls/vtec swap with an HMT kit, gutted interior if you want some extra weight loss and some slicks... = pwnage.

im running a boosted y7/y8 mini-me and it hauls ass with the light chassis. 97 dx chassis btw

stripped hatchback with really dark tinted windows, so they can't see the interior, plus B18B plus turbo = lay waste to a lot of cars on the street.
