fmic!!!

I'm thinking about getting a fmic and was considering custom fitting a starion fmic. I don't want to run on the stock side mount because it's just gonna get heat soaked. Is this starion going to be efficient enough for my stock 14b @ 21 psi? I already know that I'm gonna need injectors, safc, and a pocket logger. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

If your just running your 14b then it should be fine. But I don't think I'd run 21 psi, it will be running way too lean. If you did the starion fmic, injectors, and a s-afc then you could crank it up to like 15 or 16psi... anything higher and you will probably need a bigger fuel pump and maybe a FPR... Oh yeah, you'll need a boost controller to turn your boost up too. What size injectors are you planning on getting?

I wouldnt run a 14b at anything over 20 without race gas in the tank, but thats me.

And the starion IC is...not that great. A supra side mount would be a better choice, or even an mk III supra IC.

I'd get an eBay core, that one guy seems to think his is pretty nice and if his holds up I may very well get one. I agree though, 20+psi on a 14b seems kinda overboard to me, if you really want that much power, I think its time for a bigger turbo.

Not sure about the whole Supra side mount thing... But for your setup I'd say the Starion fmic would be good enough if your only gonna run about 16 or 17psi... Maybe you should price larger fmic's before buying it. It all depends on how much power you want out of your setup.

if you have a starion and dont want to spend money then go for it.intercoolers are pretty cheap now but i would not waste my time on the starion.
