Back Doors Squeak

I have an '01 Yukon SLT (Well technically it's not mine until Feb. when my mom gets a new car) Anyways the back doors squeak when opened and closed. I tried spraying WD-40 on the hinges and it did nothing. Is there a way to fix this? (I think it's a common problem because my friends '02 Tahoe does the same thing)

The squeak occurs where the door hit the weather stripping at the top. On mine, I rub dielectric grease with a rag into the weather stripping. I probably do this twice a year.

Where can I get some of this dielectric grease?
edit: Is this what I need?

I don't think the link is working, but just go to home depot and type dielectric grease in the search bar...Here's the pic it shows

I got mine at the local auto parts store. If you take a look at your owners manual, it will list the GM equivalent for using on the weather stripping.

+1 what he said. I lube up the top weatherstrip as well as all the other bits or rubber with 3M vinyl & rubber cleaner. Works a treat.
Dielectric grease works REALLY great in all electrical junctions to keep corrosion from happening and I use the stuff all the time

Wait, so what do I put on the rubber weather things? dielectric grease, 3M Vinyl, or Rubber Cleaner?

In my owner's manual (Section D: Recommended Fluids and Lubricants) it has:
For Weatherstrip use Dielectric Silicone Grease (GM Part No. 12345579 or equivalent)
For Weatherstrip squeaks use Synthetic Grease with Teflon, Superlube (GM Part No. 12371287 or equivalent).
I have always used Dielectric Grease but you may want to try the synthetic grease with Teflon.

I had the same problem with my 2001 SLT, Service rep @ my local GMC store had the hinge pins replaced while I was still under warranty, nothing else worked, I tried em all before seeking his advise, now...no squeaks, Good Luck.........Mike
