I have 2 questions:
1. For some reason my neon's heater will cut out and the car will begin to over heat then when the heater kicks back on it will go back down to normal, some times the heater will not kick back on and the car will over heat, can anyone tell me what might be causing this?
2. I was wondering if it is possable to take an SRT-4 turbo an dput it on a nonturbo neon and if this is a straigt fit or do I need to mod anything?
Thanks

1.Sounds like you are low on coolant, have you checked?
2. There are kits available to put the SRT-4 engine/transmission into non-turbo neons. You will just have to do a search and find a totalled SRT-4 to donate it's organs.

1.Sounds like you are low on coolant, have you checked? It could also be a faulty or sticking thermostat.
I was wondering if it is possable to take an SRT-4 turbo an dput it on a nonturbo neon and if this is a straigt fit or do I need to mod anything? If you are just wanting to add the turbo, then you will need an adapter for the turbo, then all the plumbing that goes along with it. You don't have to swap in the whole engine, but that is possible also.

Thanks for the response I actually just changed the thermostat I will recheck it since this has started since changing it.
Also the turbo I saw a guy was selling with everything attached it was just a straight pull from a wrecked SRT.

Thanks for the response I will check that as well. I will look for the kits. As for the turbo it is a pull from a wrecked SRT with everything attached so should it be able to bolt right on.

As for the turbo it is a pull from a wrecked SRT with everything attached so should it be able to bolt right on.I don't think it bolts right on. You are talking about taking a turbo from a 2.4DOHC and "bolting it right up" to a 2.0SOHC, you will need some type of adapter.
