quik clutch question

ok i just wanted to know if a stage three six puck clutch for a stock crx or stock sohc zc would fit on the dohc zc.the only reason i ask it cuz i cant find any dohc clutch lits anywhere. thanks

the cluch depends on what tranny you use, not which engine. the clutch will work with either the soch or dohc zc's but you need to know the year of the tranny as the spline count for disc was different in 88 compared to 89-91

dude unless you have a ton of mods, you don't want a six puck. Have you ever driven a car with a puck style clutch? Stop and go traffic is a nightmare. Puck style clutches are either engaged or disengaged, you can't really feather it at all.

I had a 6 puck when I first had my b16 and it was great for banging gears, but normal driving really sucked.

yes i have drivin a 6 puck clutch. it was my buddies b16 crx and i know what you mean. it is very hard but he has i down now so i think i could get used to i. and another thing about the zc how would i find out the year just by looking at the engine cuz i have no paperwork or anything. thanks

buy your clutch according to the torque specs of the manufacturer. or what goals you percieve you are reaching.
