New battery but...

My Esteem showed problem typically of the battery that I had since I purchased the car which it last pretty long (over 5 year) well after 5 years it finally died and I replaced it with a new one.The car started perfectly but two days after that, i tried to start the car and the lights didn't even started on not even using jumper cables or trying to boost the battery. I check the baterry and it was full of charge of course i bought brand new!!! I check the battery plugs, the fuses and everything look normal.... Does anybody has had a related troble with GL 1.8 2,000?

It sounds like the alternator is not charging your battery. Get a charge test done to see what is going on. It should be charging the battery at about 14.2 volts.
