96 Deville Blower Issues

I have a 96 Deville, the blower stopped working followed by an electrical smell. I have been doing some research and it looks like the cause is most likely the blower control module. Fine but the dealer wants $400 for the part so i am internet bound. I cant seem to find the part though, everyhting seems to indicate that on a 96, the control module is actually built in the motor and just replace the motor. Anyone know if this is true or not? I dont want to replace the blower and then find out I still need the control module.

Thanks
