Motor mounts

Has anyone experienced bad motor mounts in less than 5 years? I have two Suburbans with the same motor mount problems that have casued a exhaust leak one and a bad AC compressor on the other. I have never had to ever replace one since I started driving some 30 years ago and most of my autos have gone 200k or more.
