Well that is about beyond wrong. The Bosch plats suck a fat one. In some cases you end up slightly screwing your engine up as well as loosing gas millage. You would be better off rolling around on half dead plugs then those things.

the only thing those plugs are good for is high compression and boost. Dont waste your money you wont see a difference.

Dont waste your money, the best plugs to get are just platinum replacement plugs, and will last you a lot longer. A sparkplug will not make any difference in performance unless the previous plugs are badly fouled with carbon deposit, but your just restoring lost power. The only reason to change plugs for performance reasons is when ur running something like nitrous oxide and need to run a colder plug.

Don't ever buy Bosch .......ever! There's horror stories on the Mitsubishi Eclipse forum of them breaking off in engines. A must read.

I encurage YOU to continue using Bosch plugs. I hope they all break off inside your engine, mofo. Infact buy one more for your ass, seeing as how you're into that sort of thing, and hook it up to one of the coil packs on your sunchicken. If you want to keep talking like that then head over to one of your GAY forums! :loser:

This is his forum. Sunbird/Sunfire and Cavalier's are both J-Bodies and are essentially the same cars with different interiors and exteriors.
They also have pretty much the same engine options, excepting the OHC variations they got that the Cavalier didn't.
Then there's the fact that J-Body platforms, such as the cavalier, the sunfire, the sunbird, etc, share the performance, non-performance, and problem diagnosis sub-forums.
Might want to do some research before you through out assinine comments like that.

No need to get all defensive. I wasn't refering to a sunbird/sunfire section in this automotive forum. Obviously the guy forgot which forum he had logged into, as he had started to get all gay on me. That shit doesn't fly with me. I hope you understand.

The "jelly on the ass" comment was clearly referencing price gouging (ie; getting raped up the ass). Given that context, mocking wasn't necessary. He wasn't insulting anyone, just pointing out the absurd prices.
And making cracks about J-Bodies isn't something you want to do on a J-Body message board, its rather childish.
Also, back on topic, unless you're running boost or spray or something, you don't need performance plugs. They don't give you more power or anything. If you're looking for ANY gain out of a ignition system then you'd have to look into an MSD unit or something.
I prefer the simple AC Delco plugs, they're designed for our cars, work the best on a stock to relatively stock motor, and are cheap as hell. If you really just want a performance plug on a relatively stock motor, go buy a set of Delco RapidFires.

Hey, my only intention was to share what I've heard about Bosch plugs. Take it or leave it. I'm only trying to save some people some grieff! No disregard was ever truely meant for J-bodies.
