Center Consol Problems!

2 of the screws (under ebrake handle) won't come out! I tried drilling them out, one it worked fine, the other it wont so I am cutting the plastic w/ a dremel. Anybody else had this problem?

Are you talking about the stock one? If so no, mine came right out with no problem.

Don't cut the plastic. Use an "easy-out" (screw extractor). All you gotta do is drill a hole through the top of the screw, put the screw extractor in there, and twist it out (unscrew it usint the screw-extractor handle).

I second that.....if you dont want to go buy one....then drill the whole screw out and replace the mounting bracket....you can get it from a wrecker for like $1 and its cheeper to replace then the console......and if you drill out the screw you can always replace it with a bigger screw so you dont have to spend any money at all.

too late. the screws were the ones that go into the floor pan. I tried drilling them out but they were tough!!!! they broke 3 er 4 drill bits. I even tried vice grips to no avail!
