i just bought a 73 super beetle. it ran and drove ok. the carb was leaking a little so i took it off, replaced the part put it back on now the car won't start was getting no spark. replaced the coil, points, condenser, dist cap. now getting little spark but not enough to start it.
i have 12v getting to coil, jets in carb work .no other adjustments to carb just wont start HELP! PLEASE!

Check the routing of the wires from the coil. If the problem appeared after you removed the carb and replaced the part, then it was something you did in that process.
There shoud be a wire (maybe 2) coming from the coil to the carb. It (or they) should go to the idle cut-off solenoid (the round cylinder on the left side, at the base of the carb) and to the electric choke.
Here's the wiring diagram for the coil/carb.

If that doesn't work, check back.

when you say little spark is that at the end of the spark plug wires or the coil.you could have a bad condenser . or points may not be gapped properly.
or bad coil. or cap or rotor . or disconect wires from coil to carb and see if that give you more power.
