1993 lincoln died in traffic

don't know what happened, why, or how. My 1993 Lincoln Towncar just died in a snowstorm. The negative battery connection fried almost completley off as well. Tried to jump it, and nothing. I can turn on my lights, radio, everything but the car will not hold a jump and will not start, it just clicks real quick and that's it. Can any one offer any help?
