i need to know the best way to ship a sr20de transmission. i also need its weight, and size. this would be going from Cali to IL..

Here's what their site says.
Important note for tranny shipping - Use a 2'x2' sheet of plywood, one 2' 2x4, three bolts, three nails, and three nuts. Place the transmission face down on the board, drill and bolt transmission to board. Use remaining 2x4 and nail 2x4 to underside of plywood to allow UPS driver a void to put his hands in. Shipping UPS this way not being in a box, costs $5 extra but ensures proper handling, should ship for $40-$60.

how about entire motors?
im surprised at that low # because ive looked around for motors on ebay and stuff and shipping(given it is across half the country) is like 800 bucks.
