I have a 92 1.8 eclipse and the coolant and battery warning indicator lights are dimmly lit constantly and all the sudden out of nowhere. The coolant was recently flushed and filled and is currently fine. The battery is brand new and after a good 3 months it died, but i noticed the alternator fuse gave out and the belts were loose so i tightened the belts and put in a new fuse, and recharged the battery but the 2 lights are still on. I had the alternator tested and they said it was fine. the lights are only about half lighted though they are very dim and could barely be noticed, but they did that before the battery died and fuse popped too whats wrong with it??? i dont want the fuse to pop and battery to die again.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, and then reconnecting it. The ECU will then be resetted and the lights should not come back on...that is if there is nothing wrong with car
