My Bronco died in Aug while driving into New Mexico. Was going up hill when I started slowing down. Transmission kicked into 2nd gear and then third when I let off gas. When hood popped, radiator overflow was boiling. TOWED HOME. Recently drained oil and found antifreeze mixed with oil. Figured blown head gasket. While changing out gasket, cycled engine through several rotations to check cylinder walls (all looked good) - reset to 10 degrees ADTC IAW timing instructions inside hood area. Tried to start and after about three attempts, engine stopped turning. Attempted to turn by hand and breaker bar - no joy. What could be wrong?

What engine?
If you have contaminated cooling, did you check all the sensors? They can hold residue.

If you cant turn the enging at all then I would say that you have a siezed bearing.Maybe a main bearing.

mmozdzie; did you find out what the problem was with your engine not wanting to crank over by hand?
