Block Check. Eh?

Hello Again. How Do You Check The Rod Bearings On A D16z6. It Looks Fine And Turns Over At The Crank Without Problems, But I Was Just Burned With Another D16z6. Same Thing, It Turned Over Well At The Crank But When I Got It Started, It Wasn't Pretty. Any Suggestions Welcomed. Thanks. Tk

take off oil pan and baffle and play with the rod. if it doesnt move then bearings good, if theres play then bearings bad

also if there metal shaving in there save them and recycle them aluminum and metal is making top dollar right now....
