18 non vtec to vtec

im sorry for asking this im sure i knew the answer at one point but i have forgotten. and please done give me any crap. i gust want a strait forward answer and maybe some sugestions. alright i wanted to know if you put a b18 vtec head on to a stock b18a1 non vtec. thanks

If you mean put a B18C1/5 head on a B18a1 block, then yes you can do an LS/VTEC as it's called but there is a lot more to it. Do a search here and in the Honda Technical section for LS/VTEC and you'll find a link that describes all the little machining and customizing that's involved.
