Well. I have an offer for a 350 for $800. One of my dad's friends wants to get rid of it. All I know at the moment is that it has a newer cam in it and it will need to be rebuilt. Ill keep you guys updated!! If I do get it. Im gonna keep the 327 on the side incase I ever want to put it back in cause it is the original engine and everything.

$800 for a 350 that needs rebuilt doesn't sound worth it to me at all, new cam or not.

if it needs rebuilt i dont think it would be worth it either....my friend bought a brand new 350 for not much more rated at 350 hp...

well if the heads he has on there are the heads that he had for a long time...which were vette heads...then they were worth about $600 alone. but like i said. I really dont know yet.

Just to let you know:
I got a LB9, Full Engine, Transmission, Wiring, Engine Mounts for $700.
$800, depending on if its a short/long block (or is it complete?) might be to high, or average.

350's around here needing rebuilt can be picked up nearly anywhere for 100 bucks...305's can be got for around 25 needing rebuilt...but both still being complete engine....the heads would raise the value but i still dont see paying that much for an engine needing rebuilt unless it was a 427 or something like that that isnt available everywhere a dime a dozen......just my opinion

$300 for low mlg 350 out of some rusted out car or a rebuilt one with some 40k miles , free delivery since its in the car and running. $800 for a recently rebuilt one. sounds like someone wants to make money on friends. Take it for free.
