New to the familly

Hello, I just got a 69 corvette and am ready to join the corvette family. I am sure that I will have many questions about the 69 corvette and where I can get certain parts for it. Anyone out there also own the 69? Thanks

Hey, welcome! What kind of engine/tranny does it have? Do you have any pictures?

The motor was blown out in 89 and a used rebuilt engine and trany was installed. I think the engine was the L46 and I think the replaced engine was the same but not sure. A new carborator and electric fuel pump were added to the new engine and a new alternater and exhaust system. I took the vette right to the shop to get worked on so I dont have any pics yet but it is midnight blue and looks sharp! There are some minor paint problems but it looks great.

Things being fixed on the vette: the lights dont come up and the wipers are not working. Problems with the fuel pump and fuel delivery to the carb, they installed the fuel pump in the engine bay and I gues it should have been installed near the gas tank, and I need a new radio.
