i'm not to sure, so does anyone know all the 1/4 times for stock 98-02 trans ams..ws6 and regular.
I thought that 98-99 trans ams run 13.9 stock (Not ws6)...is this true
so if anyone knows any 98-02 times i would appreciate it thx..

in perfect conditions, perfect driver and perfect car........13.2 for ls1 and 13.5 for lt1. Realisticly tho...add a half second to both.

WS.6 or regular Trans Am....LS1.
Good driver in ideal conditions hits lower 13's.

a ws6 and regular TA are almost identical. The differences dont lie in the model...but the year of the car. 01-02 cars tend to be a little faster, whether its a z28, ss, formula, ta, or ws6.

Like it was mentioned before...somewhere in the 13s is the norm. A few people (mostly stripper modles) have ran a 12 with a cat-back and lid.

Then you have to consider the DA. If you're at a high altitude...expect 14s. Like me. :(

I agree but also disagree. The 01 and 02 models are definately a tad faster due to the better flowing exhaust manifold and LS6 intake manifold. But a stipper Z28 or Formula would be a tad faster then the TA, WS6 or SS because they will weigh less. But that is the only reason and the difference would only be good for a tenth (maybe a tenth and a half).

Evan Smith ran a 12.8 in a stock LS1 and a few others have broken 12.9 with no mods or weight reduction. But it's rare. Very rare. In decent elevation (1000 ft or less) the LS1's usually run mid 13's and the LT1's run low 14's. At 800 ft above sea level my stock A4 LS1 ran 13.6 @ 103 while my frinds 95 A4 Z28 ran 14.4 @ 98. For our area and track those seemed to be about average for autos. Manuals well driven were a bit better on both sides.

Last time I was at the track the DA was 8200.

We're actually saying the same thing. I didn't directly say it, but I implied stripper models are a bit faster. :)

And luos...I got you beat. The last time I raced the DA was 8500ft AND at PMI. Man...what a shitty combo. I need boost lol.

At 1600 feet:

My 97 WS6 Auto with a muffler and k&n ran 14.3 @ 99 mph all day
My 2002 WS6 Vert 6 speed, bone stock, runs 13.4 @ 105.5
