I have a 2003 Tacoma Prerunner V-6 with roughly 64,000 miles on it. It runs well, but lately its been making a "chirping" sound whenever I drive it. This sound is coming from the engine and is present even when the A/C is off. The sound seems to be increase whenever I hit the gas. I'm thinking its a belt, but I'm not sure which one. Any ideas? Thanks.

What you describe sounds like the noise could be caused by a belt. It's a good idea to check all belts for tightness and adjust any that are loose. The manuals usually have tension gage specifications, most owners will not have a gage. I have always checked the longest span between pulleys for a maximum deflection of approximately 1/2" when tightened. Your alternator belt is probably the one making the noise. A loose power steering belt would most likely make a noise when turning the wheel to the locking limits. AC belts are noisy when the AC cycles off and on.
