My passenger window is out of its track. I need to know how to take off the inside panel without destroying it.
The window had frozen and with the feature that keeps you from getting things stuck in the window, the track must have broke free from the window.

what year? 99+ has 10yr extended warranty on window clips and if they broke its free repairs for you

Thanks for the info. I will call my service guy tomorrow and see if will honor it. That would be awesome. I like my car, but its been a little problematic since the warranty went off at 50,000.
Does this cover even if I don't have the extended warranty on the car?
Just checking.
Thanks again

Plus there was a law suit filed because there was a bad part installed and VW never fixed the issue and a recall was not issued. The lawsuit stated in favor of the customer, but they will only fix if you contact them. Once you tell them it was for the window, they will fix asap. Also they will fix the issue on the driver side door while they have it.

I have a 2002.

for some odd reason, when my '01's windows got out of track (frozen) i seemed to put them back in place....i just held onto the window and tried to feel for the track, they seem back in place now....
