need help

my wife over heated my 2001 grand am 3.4 she told me all the lights blinked and the car shut its self off now the car will turn over but wount start any ideas would be a great help

Well 1st see if you got spark. Then if you got spark see if you are getting fuel. Look on the fuel rail and you will see a valve like a valve stem on the tires. Turn the key on and depress the valve. Have a rag handy. Is the check engine light on? If it is see if you can someone to check the code.

have both spark and fuel but still wount start im wondering if there is some sort of rest that can be done
