My daughters 95 SOHC ATX has begun to die out during first 5 min of startup but only sometimes, it may or may not start up right away. After it is warmed up the problem vanishes and it runs great, when the thing dies I get a code 11. the cam and crank sensors have recently ben replaced. I have suspicions that the splice may be to blame on the cam sensor plug but why only when cold??

Code 11 = No signal detected from crankshaft position sensor.
Code 11 = Intermittent loss of camshaft position sensor signal.
Code 11 = Intermittent loss of crankshaft position sensor signal.
Code 11 = Timing belt skipped one or more teeth.

You need to get the P code to identify which one you have. You may need to make sure the cam and/or crank sensors are seated correctly. If your timing belt skipped a tooth, you could be in big trouble. Do not drive it anywhere, get a scanner and check for the P code. Some stores like Autozone will let you rent the scanner, for a deposit, then you get it back when you take the scanner back.
