1994 Grand Caravan

NEED HELP!!!!!Friday I was driving to work and all of the sudden the van started to sputter and spit and then just died. At first I thought I was out of gas. Checked the pressure at the fuel rail all OK. It would start but the stall after 30 seconds. I noticed a connector that was sillicon sealed on a sensor just behind the intake manifold. I moved the plug around and low and behold it started and ran all day. Went out the next day and it will not start at all!!!!I have two questions? First, what sensor is that????and what could be the problem??? :disappoin :shakehead
